The most important steps – from installing to your first receipt.
Add it to your home screen
iPhone: open Vorratsfuchs in Safari, tap “Share”, then “Add to Home Screen”. Then log in inside the new app – the home-screen app has its own login.
Android: Chrome shows “Install” – or choose “Install app” in the menu (⋮).
Create a household and invite others
After logging in you create your household. Under “Household” you create an invite link and share it, for example via a messenger. Whoever opens the link creates an account and is in. The link is valid for 7 days.
List and pantry
Whatever is missing goes on the list. Whatever you tick off is then in the pantry; below the tick you briefly see where it went – “Adjust” lets you change storage place or category right there.
Tips for receipts
- Lay the receipt flat on a dark table and photograph it from above.
- Everything from the first item to the total must be in the picture; shop and payment don’t matter.
- The first time, text recognition loads once – after that it works offline too.
- If the preview says “… missing”, a line wasn’t read. Add what’s missing by hand.
Switch on reminders
Under “Account” you switch on the daily reminder and choose the time. On iPhone, notifications only work in the installed app. “Send a test” shows you what it looks like.
Leave the household, delete your account
Under “Household” you can leave at any time. Whoever leaves last deletes the household with list and pantry. Under “Account” you delete your account for good.
